Percussion Art

Percussion Art spawned from a life long journey of musical and artistic creativity for Craig Casey, founder and president. A life long percussionist and drummer, Craig has been playing music since he was 12 years old. He majored in music at Memphis State University and also studied electronics at a local technical state college, which helped connect his left and right brain passions.

After moving to Glendale, CA 15 years ago, Craig's world merged with various artistic and musically centered communities. Soon, he began to attend and facilitate drum circles and work as a freelance musician. A few years later he began to formulate an idea to create a business to provide his fellow musicians beautiful handcrafted and unique percussion instruments. From that Percussion Art was born.

With the help of his best friend and son, 14 year old Cameron Casey, they have taken Percussion Art beyond the art of instrument fabrication. Together they built a custom booth for displaying their creations and products at craft markets and fairs. Like his father, Cameron is also a talented percussionist who performs beside Craig at many events. To Craig, this is truly a "dream come true."
